Sophie Nash (she/her) a Boston-based freelance dance artist and choreographer. Her creative work is quirky, playful, and visceral. She invites audiences to enter into elaborately constructed dreamscapes that interrogate human togetherness. Rooted in contemporary and modern dance forms, she draws from her experiences in theater arts to build pieces that navigate emotional heaviness in a lighthearted manner. Her choreographic work has been shown in Boston, Providence, Brockport, Rochester, Syracuse, and New York City. She has performed works by Mariah Maloney, Tammy Carrasco/Wild Beast Dance, Hollis Bartlett, Doug Gillespie, and Eliza Malecki Dance among others.
